The Ben and Patty Morning Show

The Mix in the Morning is Ben Davis and Patty Dee…the Sioux Empire’s longest running morning show, they’ve been together for 18 years now.  Their brand of morning radio can be summed up in three words…Fun, Community and You.

Each morning Ben and Patty invite you in to the Mix for a little news, weather, humor, and compelling conversation on topics like-- “Hot or Cold Water when you brush your teeth? --- “What defunct Sioux Falls hot spot would you like to see come back?” --- “What tricks did your siblings play on you when you were young?”  They never miss an opportunity to get behind a worthy cause, whether it’s a fundraiser for a large organization or helping out a Sioux Empire family in need.  Fun, interesting and never off color… the Ben and Patty Show, weekday mornings from 6-10 on Mix 97-3.  

Middays with Brad Peterson

Brad was born and raised in Sioux Falls...don't hold that against him.  Brad went to college at SDSU.  He has three teenagers and loves being a dad and everything that comes with it...cooking, baking, going to volleyball games and following the kids everywhere.  He enjoys playing tennis, golf and bowling.  He's been a part of Sioux Falls radio since 1984 and now he's part of your workday, weekdays from 10am-2pm on Mix 97-3. 

Wind down your workday with Karla Brown

Afternoons on MIX 97-3 are designed with the working woman in mind and that’s where Karla Brown comes in. Karla has been with MIX 97-3 for 16 years. During that time she has built a close relationship with her listeners…she says it’s like talking to hundreds of her friends at one time. We’ll talk about “American Idol”, the newest weight loss tips, Hollywood gossip, what’s happening on “Desperate Housewives” and of course interesting facts about Mix music. People all over the Sioux Empire are finding out that the work day flies by with Karla Brown and the 9 to 6 “At Work Mix” on MIX 97-3.

• Totally 80’s Lunch Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12-1PM Brad Peterson serves up a “Totally 80’s Lunch.”  One hour of totally awesome tunes from the decade of Reganomics and the Rubik’s Cube.

• 90's at Noon:  Wednesday's from Noon-1pm we take you back to the era of Beavis and Butthead and the Rachel haircut...the 90's!  We'll play everything from Dead Eye Dick to Dog's Eye View.  

• The 80’s at 8 Weeknights from 8 till 9 Skinny Ties, Parachute Pants, Leg Warmers and Big Hair all come back in style as we take a trip back in time to the decade of decadence on the “80’s at 8.”  We'll play all your favorite 80’s artists…from ABC to ZZ Top and everything in between. The 80’s are gone, but the music lives on, weeknights at 8 on MIX 97-3.
