After living out of a suitcase selling dairy products in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin in 1988, I finally woke up.  It was about 5am and I had just got back from a long "selling" road trip. I WAS BURNT OUT, and started thinking about my life in a different way.  I wondered what I "really" wanted to do for a living!  It all started when I asked myself 'Who do I admire?'  Who do I KNOW has a job that they look genuinely really happy doing?   Well, 20 years, millions of dollars generated and hundreds of "live" broadcasts later, I'm still doing what Dave Dobell (the man I considered pretty cool who loved what he did) did.  He sold advertising on the local radio stations!  But that was just the tip of Dave's iceberg!  Dave was witty and honest, he thought out of the box, he was an idea guy. He wrote commercials that were engaging and memorable with a sincere call to action that benefited both the client and the listener.  Dave got results and I liked that!
