As an account executive at Results Radio, I have grown so much... both on the job and at home.  Sure, I love helping clients grow their businesses and solve problems.  Sure, I love the chance to learn something new every day.  Sure, I love the fact that I work with so many types of businesses to create successful campaigns that I never grow bored.  But the thing I appreciate most about my job is that we have ongoing training that not only makes me a better marketer... but the wealth of personal growth training has helped me live a more fulfilling life... financially and otherwise.

I said I’d never do this job… PERIOD!  Years ago as an announcer for a host of other radio groups, I saw firsthand how not to do the business side of Radio.  Sad to say, most of whom I met were little more than hucksters… one notch below the stereotypical bad used car salesman with absolutely no concept of professional Integrity, let alone “best practices”.  But in my mind, I saw how it could be… how it should be.  The forming of strong, long lasting relationships with business owners and managers… becoming an asset in helping them plan and really growing their business with ideas that actually work… and being there as lifelong dreams of prosperity come true.  NOW THAT’S EXCITING!  Making the decision to become a Results Radio Account Executive was easy.  After a while you just know the genuine article when you see it and I’m telling you, just like any of our successful clients would say, Results Radio does it right!  You get the freedom to succeed beyond your wildest dreams with a lineup of great stations and what is far and away the best ongoing training on the planet.  Oh, and let’s just say the pay from calling on all those successful clients ain’t too bad either.  Never do this job?  I guess I changed my mind… or did I?

Some radio groups I've worked with in the past did not see my creativity (writing, producing, brainstorming) as the juice needed to move mountains for my clients.  They'd get red in the face and spit: "salespeople should be pitching more packages and spending more time selling clients!!!" Meeting Don Jacobs, was a breath of fresh air.  Working with him for over 12 years has been profitable.  He truly does want what is best for the client, and he knows that being creative is crucial in the endeavor. He is "King Arthur" in our world of advertising.  Doing what is right.  Telling the truth.  Searching for the Holy Grail (that ONE IDEA needed to help a client prosper).  And I...I am one of the renowned KNIGHTS OF HIS ROUNDTABLE!  Call me "Sir Mark, the Odd-Ball!"  Or, perhaps, "Sir Mark the Bobble Headed Goat!"  Or, maybe, "Sir Mark...the Knight Who Cries at Sad Movies!"
